Diners in McLean and Tysons will have a dozen options for fixed-price, three-course meals when Metropolitan Washington Summer Restaurant Week returns Monday, Aug. 24, through Sunday, Aug. 30.

The annual event, organized by the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington, brings prix-fixe brunch, lunch and dinner menus to restaurants across the D.C. region. This year's local lineup spans steakhouses, a modern Persian spot, Italian, Tex-Mex and a burger joint, with prices running from $25 lunches to $65 dinners, according to the RAMW participant list.

Here are the 12 participating McLean and Tysons restaurants, as reported by Patch:

  • Agora Tysons, 7911 Westpark Drive, Tysons — tapas-style Greek, Mediterranean and Turkish dishes
  • American Prime, 1420 Spring Hill Road, McLean — independently owned steakhouse with smoked prime rib and dry-aged beef
  • Big Buns McLean, 1330 Chain Bridge Road, McLean — burgers, chicken sandwiches and shakes, with outdoor dining
  • Circa At The Boro, 1675 Silver Hill Drive, Tysons — American bistro with seasonal dishes and a patio
  • Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 1960A Chain Bridge Road, McLean — prime steaks and seafood near Tysons Galleria
  • Founding Farmers — Tysons, 1800 Tysons Blvd., McLean — farmer-owned, scratch-made food; two Restaurant Week menus
  • J. Gilbert's — Wood Fired Steaks & Seafood, 6930 Old Dominion Drive, McLean — mesquite-grilled prime-aged beef and crab cakes; two menus (no Sunday brunch/lunch)
  • Joon, 8045 Leesburg Pike, Suite 120, Tysons — modern Persian restaurant led by executive chef Najmieh Batmanglij; three menus

  • Ometeo, 1640 Capital One Drive, Tysons — Tex-Mex with indoor and outdoor dining; four menus
  • Wildfire — Tysons Galleria, 2001 International Drive, McLean — $35 lunch, $55 dinner

Joon is the most decorated restaurant on the list. The Tysons spot opened in 2023 and was named to The New York Times' "50 Places We're Most Excited About Right Now" list in 2024. It earned a 2026 RAMMYS finalist nod for Upscale Casual Restaurant of the Year. Batmanglij, whom the Washington Post has called "the grande dame of Iranian cooking," described her philosophy in a February Virginia Living profile: "It's about sharing, the conversation, telling stories, sharing the culture."

Across the region, Restaurant Week typically draws hundreds of participants. The winter 2026 edition included 252 restaurants in D.C. alone, according to the mayor's office.

RAMW says menus are still being added. Diners should check individual restaurants for availability and reservations, or browse the full list on the RAMW website.
