Drivers heading to McLean from the Capital Beltway will hit detours through Saturday, Oct. 3, as paving crews close ramps at the I-495 and Route 123 interchange in Tysons.

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) began the nightly closures Monday, Sept. 28, and will continue them through Oct. 3, weather permitting, according to a VDOT press release. Each closure runs from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. One ramp shuts down per night.

The interchange sits where Chain Bridge Road meets the Beltway, one of the busiest junctions for McLean and Great Falls commuters.
