Shipgarten, the outdoor biergarten at 7581 Colshire Drive in McLean, is hosting NFL watch parties every Sunday this season with no cover charge.

The venue's setup includes two 155-inch TV walls, eight HD televisions and five projectors, with sound turned on for marquee matchups, according to Shipgarten's event listings. VIP couches are available by request.

The next listed watch party is Sept. 27 for the Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys game, with kickoff at 4:25 p.m. The venue's website lists individual game-day events throughout the season.

Patch's McLean digest, published Tuesday, Sept. 8, included Shipgarten in a roundup of more than 40 Northern Virginia bars and restaurants showing games this season. The roundup was compiled by Christian Segovia for thelocalgirl.com.

Shipgarten bills itself as Northern Virginia's first outdoor multi-concept biergarten. Four food vendors operate out of 40-foot shipping containers on the property, and the venue includes a heated 4,000-square-foot tent and an outdoor patio. The business is run by Creative Bar Concepts, the same group behind Tysons Biergarten and Hops N Shine.

During the 2025 NFL season, the venue promoted game-day food and drink specials, including pizza for $9.99 and wings for $6. Pricing for the 2026 season has not been confirmed.

Shipgarten is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to its website. The venue also offers a complimentary shuttle starting at 3 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on weekends.
